SalvAide Benefit Concert: Luis Mejia Godoy

The SJF provided a $300 contribution to a SalvAide benefit concert at the Museum of Civilization, featuring internationally renowned singer songwriter, Luis Mejia Godoy from Nicaragua.

The funds raised during the event were earmarked for the disadvantaged rural youth of El Salvador. SalvAide is a registered charity and well-known among Canadian NGOs and social justice activists. In Canada, SalvAide fosters lasting people-to-people ties between Canadian and Salvadorians through their Twin Community Program. Today, more than 10 communities are twinned with rural communities in El Salvador.
