The series has been broadcast in part on "Making Contact", the U.S. National Radio Project's public affairs program heard on over 200 radio stations in the U.S., Canada, South Africa and Ireland.

Internationally, the series is distributed through key community radio websites including those of the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters, the Community Media Association in the United Kingdom, the National Campus/Community Radio Association in Canada and Pacifica Radio in the U.S. All this gives the documentary a potential global audience of 50 million people.
