SintraPostal Forum
Sintrapostal, the postal workers union in Colombia organized a forum in June 2004 to mobilize 100 grass roots union leaders around a plan of action to meet the critical challenging facing Sintrapostal and the trade union movement in Colombia. The forum specifically addressed the privatization of pension plans and postal services promoted under the US–Colombia Free Trade Agreement. The request for funding came from UNI (the Union Network International), and was co-funded by UNI, PSAC/UPCE and the CUPW.
