Report on Make Poverty History Campaign in Yellowknife

Meeting with Ethel Blondin Andrew, MP, Western Arctic, on Oct. 14th, 2005, to review the demands of the Make Poverty History Campaign. Groups involved: NWT Area Council of the PSAC, Alternatives North, Centre for Northern Families, St. Patrick's Parish, NAPO. Ethel committed to meet with relevant ministers to see what they are doing on each of the demands and agreed to meet with the groups again, before or in the New Year.

Rally on Oct 17,2005: Groups involved: St. Patrick's High School students, Alternatives North, PSAC North, Centre for Northern Families, NAPO. Approximately 8 banners with signatures presented to staff member of constituency office with request that the MP present them to Prime Minister.
